PMB is proud to announce that 3D white light scanning is here! With this non-contact optical measuring machine, we can take multiple high resolution images, and form a polygon mesh of the entire surface of your chest cavity. We can scan your body before and after your mastectomy/lumpectomy to design and comfortably fit a prosthesis for your body. The design staff in our artistic design department will create surface data using the scan as their guide. The surface process is part of what makes PMB unique. We then download the surface data into a high evolutionary laser machine to create the master model mold. A special liquid material is poured into the mold. When cooled, the prosthesis is then taken out of the mold and inspected carefully. The delivered product represents the exact size and shape of your breast, or if you are having bilateral, the results can be to your desired specifications. The stunningly natural-looking prosthesis is made of a special, soft, skin-like material that can be easily washed by hand with warm soapy water. The prosthesis is now ready to be fitted into your preferred choice of bra, customized to hold your personal custom-fit prosthesis.
